Global Technical Support Supervisor
As Global Technical Support Supervisor, you combine deep technical expertise with team leadership. You ensure high-quality service delivery, strong KPI performance, and a seamless customer experience across MicroCT business unit.
What You’ll Do
- Take full technical responsibility in line with the Global Technical Support Specialist role, supporting complex cases and critical escalations
- Supervise and guide MicroCT Global Technical Support Engineers and collaborate closely with the Service Enablement and Innovation team and designated Field Service Engineers
- Monitor and analyze Global Technical Support response times, time to resolution, first-time fix rates, and other key service KPIs
- Plan and verify resource allocation to ensure effective and timely service delivery
- Actively monitor open calls and, together with Field Service Operations, drive swift resolution and an optimal customer experience
- Proactively drive preventive maintenance compliance in close collaboration with Field Service Operations
- Translate field experience and insights into structural product and process improvements through cooperation with SEI and R&D
- Monitor technical skill levels within Field Service and support targeted development to ensure high service standards
- Ensure adherence to procedures during installations, training, demonstrations, and service repairs
What You’ll Bring
- High school or university education with solid technical background and El. competence (GD194/2022)
- Strong working knowledge of electronics and deep expertise in X-Ray systems and supported products
- Experience in technical support or field service, ideally in a high-tech environment
- The ability to analyze data and KPIs and turn insights into practical improvements
- Clear and confident communication skills in English
- A structured problem-solver with a strong sense of accountability
- A customer-focused mindset with assertive, can-do communication
- Leadership potential with a positive approach to mentoring and developing junior technicians
- Curiosity and motivation to continuously expand your technical knowledge
- A valid driver’s license (Category B) and readiness to support field operations when needed
