An Instrumentation Developer handles software tasks focused on the control and monitoring of various devices (e.g., manipulators, detectors, power supply settings, cameras). This includes backend programming, partially the user interface (UI), and auxiliary scripts.

What Awaits You at TESCAN?

• Development and maintenance of application software for controlling measuring and manipulation devices – both backend and frontend (C# or C++)

• Participating in the development of a backend network service for monitoring device status

• Collaborating on control software for SEM/FIB microscopes (Python, C#, C++)

• Cooperation with other development teams (electronics, physics, etc.)

• Development on the Windows platform, working in Visual Studio 2022, using Git

What We Expect from You

• University degree in a technical field

• Basic knowledge of C#, .NET, Python, SQL, REST

• Willingness to learn and take on challenges

• Proactive and systematic approach

• Team player

• At least intermediate English – reading/writing documentation, studying standards, communicating with colleagues
