We are currently recruiting a Global Mechanical Purchasing/Procurement Manager.
Reporting to the Group Supply Chain Director, you will have worldwide responsibility for the management of the mechanical parts procurement category.
In this role, you will have group-wide responsibility for the end-to-end cost, schedule and performance of suppliers and buyers. Your main duties will be:
- Establish, negotiate, communicate and maintain end-to-end relationships with suppliers at all levels of the TESCAN organization. Lead supplier selection for NPI and similar projects, negotiate and implement supplier contracts, purchase prices and all relevant terms and conditions within its category portfolio. Represent TESCAN at all levels of supplier management, including authority for contract negotiation.
- Perform spend analysis and budget forecasting for material costs.
- Drive stakeholder alignment to develop category strategies. In general, take into account R&D roadmaps, technology requirements, commercial strategy, operational strategy, inventory and financial assets, etc.
- Manage a team of procurement professionals.
- Respect established performance management criteria and achieve targets.
- In particular, he is responsible for costs, availability of materials and quality of materials supplied. Achieves multi-year strategic objectives.
- Drives the implementation of relevant regulatory requirements in the supply chain.
- Define, recommend and implement process improvements or conditions optimizing projects for TESCAN.
Technical/professional qualifications required:
- Bac + 5 in Supply Chain
- 5 years' experience in supply chain management
- 3 years in personnel management
- Financial analysis skills
