Field Service Engineer

You will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and supporting advanced scientific equipment at customer sites. This role combines technical expertise with customer interaction, ensuring reliable performance and long-term satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• Perform technical pre-installation visits to prepare successful deployments

• Install, commission, and validate equipment at customer sites

• Train users and support their first steps with the system

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshoot issues

• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, including diagnostics, repairs, and calibration

• Ensure accurate reporting and traceability of all service activities

• Contribute to product improvement by sharing recurring issues and field feedback

• Manage your tools and spare parts inventory effectively

• Collaborate closely with sales and service teams locally and globally

• Build strong customer relationships and support long-term satisfaction

What You’ll Bring

• A background in electronics, mechanics, materials science, or a related technical field

• Hands-on problem-solving skills and confidence working with complex systems

• A structured and methodical approach, with attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and a natural sense of customer care

• The ability to adapt, stay calm under pressure, and respond quickly

• A collaborative mindset, while also being comfortable working independently

• Technical English skills to communicate in an international environment

• A proactive attitude and willingness to continuously learn and improve
