Context & Responsabilities :

As part of a replacement, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer (M/F) on a permanent contract. In this context, your mission will be to :

  • Participate in product assembly under the responsibility of the PDMs
  • Participate in or carry out part of the testing under the responsibility of the PDMs
  • Participate in continuous improvement within the company, report anomalies, propose solutions, and participate in their implementation
  • Be the guarantor of customer satisfaction for your portfolio
  • Ensure that projects and assigned tasks are followed up within the given timeframes
  • Provide service support to subsidiaries (Specialist)
  • Manage customer complaints for your portfolio with the quality department and your manager
  • Carry out or organize and monitor technical pre-visits with the service coordinator
  • Install, start up, and perform acceptance tests on equipment at customer sites
  • Train customers in the use of equipment (“getting started”)
  • Provide remote technical support to customers and subsidiaries
  • Plan, organize, and carry out preventive and corrective visits: diagnosis, search for technical solutions, repair & calibration of equipment with the service coordinator
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of products by reporting recurring faults or incidents to PDM/quality
  • Define, manage, and monitor your stock of tools and spare parts

This position requires regular travel, mainly in Europe, Asia, and the United States.

Hard skills : 

  • Advanced knowledge of the company's products and technologies or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics
  • General knowledge in one of the following fields (micromechanics, optics..)
  • Fluent English (at least B2)
  • Knowledge of vacuum technology and software would be a plus
  • Master's degree or BUT GE&II or equivalent in Electronics/Industrial Maintenance/Physical Measurements
