Global Accounts Service Manager

As Global Accounts Service Manager, you will lead service delivery for our key global customers, primarily in the semiconductor industry. You will connect local Field Service teams, Global Account Management, and HQ to ensure a consistent, high-quality service experience that supports long-term partnerships and recurring business.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and develop the service framework for global key accounts, including procedures, tools, and commercial service agreements.

  • Coordinate closely with Field Service organizations to ensure staffing, training, and setup meet customer entitlements.

  • Standardize and implement service processes and reporting to increase transparency, including visibility into service calls and escalation pathways.

  • Drive growth of service contracts and related revenues within global and strategic accounts.

  • Strengthen customer loyalty through regular system performance meetings and on-site visits in collaboration with Global Account Management.

  • Monitor and improve service performance metrics such as uptime, MTTR, and MTBF, ensuring agreed service levels are achieved or exceeded.

  • Manage escalations in close cooperation with Global Technical Support and Service Logistics to ensure timely resolution.

  • Partner with Service IT to integrate processes into service call management systems.

  • Support successful new installations by working with Installation Coordinators on tailored rollout plans.

  • Contribute to commercial programs with Service Sales and Marketing to encourage repeat service and system sales.

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in a relevant technical or business field, with at least 3 years of experience in customer service or technical sales, ideally within scientific or measurement instrumentation.

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry or a similar high-tech environment is an advantage.

  • A structured, analytical mindset and a pragmatic approach to solving complex challenges.

  • Confidence in working across cultures and within matrix organizations, even without direct reporting lines.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present clearly to key stakeholders.

  • A proactive, self-driven attitude and a strong sense of ownership.

  • The ability to manage escalations calmly and turn challenges into structural improvements.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support global customers.
