Industrial Purchaser

You will play a key role in managing and optimizing a supplier portfolio dedicated to industrial purchasing, particularly for precision mechanical parts. Working closely with Production, Quality, Industrialization, and R&D teams, you will help secure supply chains, improve costs, and ensure supplier reliability.

As part of a replacement, we are recruiting a permanent Industrial Buyer. The position is available as soon as possible, and no later than early September.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, consult, and qualify new suppliers in line with industrial needs.
• Lead supplier tenders and analyze supplier proposals to optimize costs, quality, and delivery times.
• Conduct supplier audits and comparative analyses to support purchasing decisions.
• Build and manage a reliable and sustainable supplier panel.
• Monitor stock levels with Production teams and trigger the necessary purchase orders.
• Anticipate supply risks related to sensitive components.
• Record and follow up supplier orders on a daily basis.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
• Manage disputes related to orders, transportation, delivery discrepancies, or invoicing.
• Update and monitor purchasing KPIs and dashboards.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing and supply chain processes.

What You’ll Bring

• You enjoy negotiating and building long-term supplier relationships.
• You can manage multiple topics simultaneously with rigor and organization.
• You are comfortable working in a technical and industrial environment, ideally in precision mechanics.
• You have a solid understanding of purchasing and supply chain processes.
• You are experienced in using an ERP system, ideally SAP.
• You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• You demonstrate perseverance, autonomy, and strong prioritization skills.
• You hold a Master’s degree in Purchasing or have equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
