As part of the SAP implementation, we are looking for a methods technician (M/F) for a fixed-term contract of at least 6 months.
The position is available as soon as possible and aims to relieve the existing team of their daily tasks so that they can spend time on the project. You will report to the methods department and work in tandem with another technician.
Your main tasks will be:
- Auditing the application of operating procedures - Analyzing discrepancies - Reporting them to the Product Engineer / Production Manager / Quality Manager / Manufacturing Manager
- Setting up a feedback system to identify bottlenecks and lessons learned from the processes involved.
- Leading the production optimization process with stakeholders.
- Participating in feasibility studies to adapt production tools to new demands in collaboration with product engineering.
- Participating in the design of product manufacturing ranges, defining procedures to be followed, and drafting manufacturing files.
- Analyzing malfunctions and participating in the implementation of a continuous improvement process.
- Break down and analyze the different stages of the manufacturing process to improve the reliability of production processes.
- Create or update the document database (technical files, reports, procedure documents, etc.) and optimize the document repository in collaboration with quality and product engineers.
- Design training modules and/or train staff in new procedures (work practices, etc.).
Profile:
- Similar experience in methodology required
- Minimum 2 years of higher education in Methods/Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of mechanics
- Advanced knowledge of methodology (steps, documentation, 5S, Lean, etc.)
- General knowledge of how an ERP system works (ideally SAP)
- Technical English
