We are recruiting a Planning and Scheduling Engineer for our French subsidiary reporting to the Logistics and Planning Manager, your main task will be to schedule product manufacturing in order to optimize the use of resources (human and material) and guarantee customer commitment dates.

To do this, you will need to:

Configure the ERP system for production:

  • Define the stages, trigger diagrams, and manufacturing declarations.
  • Define the fields to be integrated into SAP: codes, durations, resources, etc. in collaboration with the Workshop Managers
  • Define and update the scheduling parameters for item records: minimum stock levels, etc.
  • Propose and implement the necessary parameter changes (corrections to existing parameters or implementation of new products)
  • Define monitoring procedures for each stage of manufacturing
  • Be responsible for the Production Plan and monitor its progress
  • Define and then adjust the production schedule in the event of unforeseen circumstances (stock shortages, lack of human resources, over- or under-capacity, etc.) and calculate the cost of these unforeseen circumstances (production delays, additional costs, etc.).
  • Define supply requirements based on customer demand, sales forecasts, stock levels, the company's period of activity, the availability of production equipment, etc.
  • Create a schedule for each sector and communicate it

Participate in the continuous improvement of the supply chain:

  • Analyze the completeness of purchase orders in advance, provide visibility and prioritize missing items for the Procurement team
  • Contribute to the balance between workload and production capacity

Profil :

  • Good knowledge of SAP required
  • Master's degree in supply chain/industrial engineering/logistics
  • Experience in planning in a complex environment required (multi-workshop production - new products/repairs)
  • Good understanding of planning flows (production planning, inventory management, forecasting, etc.)
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., SAP BW, Power BI, advanced Excel)
  • Proficiency in scheduling and planning methodology and tools
