Product Validation Engineer
You ensure the validation of our products before shipment, while contributing to their continuous improvement whenever a non-conformity is identified. You also support product integration and provide internal technical support.
What You'll Do
- Define and write product-specific test programs in collaboration with your manager.
- Contribute to the design of test equipment and test benches.
- Perform tests, monitor parameters, and record measurement results.
- Write, share, and apply test procedures, including ATP and COA.
- Verify and validate product compliance in accordance with established procedures.
- Diagnose non-conformities, resolve issues whenever possible, and follow them up with the relevant teams through to product acceptance.
- Ensure full traceability of products and their associated tests.
- Maintain test benches and the tools and equipment required for testing activities.
- Contribute to inventory management within the department.
- Identify deviations, propose solutions, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Support product installation within the group during industrialization phases.
- Diagnose issues, anomalies, and failures to identify and propose appropriate solutions.
- Provide internal technical support.
- Work closely with Production, Logistics, R&D, and other teams to help meet delivery deadlines and contribute to customer satisfaction.
What You'll Bring
- A Master's degree or equivalent qualification in instrumentation, electronics, materials science, or a related field.
- Solid general knowledge of electronics, physics, mechanics, and software, combined with the curiosity to understand our products as a whole.
- Strong analytical skills to identify the root causes of anomalies and develop appropriate solutions.
- A rigorous and organized approach to testing, documenting results, and ensuring reliable traceability.
- Autonomy, responsiveness, and the ability to anticipate potential issues while following company procedures.
- A strong customer-focused mindset and good interpersonal skills to provide high-quality technical support.
- A collaborative mindset and adaptability that enable you to work effectively across different functions.
- Fluency in English to work effectively in an international environment.
- Appropriate electrical certification for the activities associated with the role.
- The ability to develop strong knowledge of Tescan products and provide relevant technical support.
