As part of the creation of a new position, we are recruiting a Production Engineering Team Leader.

Reporting to the production manager, you will supervise 2 methods technicians. Your main mission will be to provide production support during new product industrialization projects. 
You will also identify and implement continuous improvement measures for processes, methods, and manufacturing tools in the electronic production department.

To do this, you will need to:

  • Develop manufacturing ranges, instruction sheets, and operating procedures.
  • Improve ergonomics, efficiency, safety
  • Contribute significantly to the implementation and updating of SAP
  • Reduce production costs and times.
  • Work closely with Product Engineering to define tooling, machinery, and equipment requirements.

 

More specifically for the electronics side:

  •  Defining electrical wiring and assembly processes: Developing standards for wiring, connection, and electrical assembly; defining specific tools (crimping press, wiring templates, etc.).
  • Creating electrical technical files: Wiring instruction sheets, wiring diagrams, parts lists, schematics. ; Management of technical databases (ERP, PLM, etc.).
  • Monitoring of electrical tests and checks: Develop test procedures (continuity, insulation, functional); Collaborate with the quality department on electrical non-conformities.
  • Production support: Provide technical expertise to operators in the event of problems; Train staff in electrical processes and tools; Implement Lean approaches (5S, SMED, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators (OEE, cycle time, scrap, etc.): Participate in the definition, validation, and deployment of new industrial equipment; Manage testing, development, and operator training.

Profil :

  • First experience in team management
  • At least 3 years in a similar position in methods and project management
  • Master's degree - Electronics/Mechanical Engineer - Industrialization - Methods -
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics and/or mechanics
  • General knowledge of ERP (SAP) operations
  • Technical English
  • Knowledge of vacuum technology, mechanics, and materials is a plus
