As part of a replacement, we are looking for a sales engineer (M/F) for the northern region of France and Belgium.

Reporting to the VP Sales EMEA, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Promote Tescan Group products by all direct or indirect means
  • Working with the TESCAN Group's sales and marketing teams to maximize sales success with your customers
  • Defining, planning, implementing, and monitoring the development strategy for the area for which you are responsible
  • Taking ownership of customer relationships by developing contacts and relationships within the territory
  • Developing market share and customer portfolios
  • Maximize the profitability of your territory through value-based sales techniques
  • Ensure customers' ability to pay
  • Provide regular, high-quality reporting and regularly update the CRM (Sales Force)
  • Respond to calls for tenders and make sales in accordance with the commercial conditions defined by Tescan
  • Ensure the implementation and follow-up of deals from sale to payment
  • Create technical configurations to be validated with the teams in charge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement the winning solution as a whole (technology, price, support, etc.)
  • Coordinate with after-sales service for equipment installation

The ideal candidate

  • Experience in sales or applications for high-tech products, ideally in a very similar field (complex and long sales cycle)
  • Master's degree in Science or Business
  • Fluent in French and English, Flemish/Dutch is a plus.
  • Strong sales personality, good communication skills, customer-focused
  • Adaptability, stamina
  • Rigorous and methodical.
  • Proficiency in sales processes (MEDDIC, Miller Heimann, etc.).
  • Knowledge of prospecting automation processes (e.g., Sales Navigator + Walaxy/Lemlist + Kasper/Lusha)
