We currently seek for a highly motivated and enthusiastic specialist for our X-ray Computed Tomography (micro-CT) Applications Team in Ghent, Belgium.

A person in this position shall provide excellent application and technical support for the entire micro-CT TESCAN product portfolio.

You will:

· Master the expert operation of micro-CT solutions of Tescan, to acquire the best possible data from Tescan equipment.

· Use your expert system operation skills to perform instrument demonstrations, acceptance and customer training.

· Develop a profound understanding of the information that can be obtained from micro-CT data, by means of engaged discussions with customers.

· Transform customers needs into workable micro-CT workflows.

· Understand you are part of a comprehensive sales cycle, where the demonstration serves to validate the Tescan product value propositions.

· Contribute to application presentations and present on scientific conferences.

· Contribute to the creation of marketing collateral.

· Cultivate positive customer interactions and support them by providing application after sales support.

· Support sales initiatives (such as customer workshops, or sales visits) upon request.

· Provide continuous feedback to the product groups on system performance, innovation and marketing.

Qualification and skills required:

· BSc or MSc in Physics, Engineering, Material Science, Life Science.

· Proven affinity, or practical experience, with the operation of scientific equipment. Recent hands-on experience with micro-CT is recommended.

· You have the scientific background to understand the information that customers extract from microscopy data.

· You have excellent, enthusiastic, clear communication skills (both written and verbal), in English.

· Excellent customer interfacing skills during demonstrations, acceptance and customer training is a must.

· Proven ability to interact with cross-functional and cross- cultural teams.

Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25% of time) and possession of a valid passport.
