As part of a replacement, we are looking for a Product Marketing Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract.
Reporting to the Product Marketing Director and the Micro CT BU Director, your main responsibilities will be to manage the positioning of our micro-CT range.
To do this, you will work closely with applications, MarCom, the product manager, R&D and sales, without formal authority.
Your responsibilities will include
- Supporting the strategy and sales, particularly during the first half of the sales cycle (levels 1 and 2), in order to engage in dialogue with customers, advise them, and ask them about their preferences in terms of solutions and suppliers.
- Represent the Voice-of-the-Customer at all TESCAN internal operations and translate customer workflows (materials science, semiconductors/electronic packaging, life sciences) into clear value propositions.
- Conduct environmental analysis to understand customer segmentation by type, their work to be done, their use of scientific equipment, their current suppliers (competitive analysis), and their sources of dissatisfaction.
- Generate market requirements roadmaps for your area of application, as well as more detailed market requirements documents (MRDs, including business case studies and product requirements) for each new product idea selected for development.
- Create marketing content to generate interest, consult, and engage customers in the early stages (Levels 1 and 2) of the sales cycle.
- Be responsible for the deliverables of the scoping and launch phase of TESCAN's Product Lifecycle Management (PMP) process, generated by yourself or other members of the project team.
- Support marketing operations and commercial deployment managers in their digital marketing efforts and in the deployment of your product positioning content (which includes pricing recommendations) to sales.

- Micro-CT domain: Understands micro-CT applications and technology aspects
- Application literacy
- Competitive & pricing: can map perceived value vs. ASP, create comparison tables that stand up to scrutiny, and support value-based pricing. Knows competitive environment in micro-CT Business.
- Enablement stack: builds sales pitch, objection handler, battlecards, application notes, ROI calculations defending the value; partners with MarCom to support their messaging
- Data chops: comfortable with basic analytics (CAGR/SAM, funnel), CRM, and pulling “so what” from demos/evals and customer interactions.
- Language skills: English B2 or higher
- Structured communicator
- Cross-functional driver
- Customer-obsessed and commercially sharp
- Presentation & training: confident trainer ; can handle Q&A and objections. Is enthusiastic presenter to the customers.
- Travel expectation 30% on average, with peaks to 40% around launches, key customer meetings, and regional trainings (Americas/APAC/EMEA)
