Group Reporting & Consolidation Specialist

 

As a Group Reporting & Consolidation Specialist, you will help ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial and non-financial reporting across the Tescan Group. You will support group consolidation, management reporting, financial audits, and reporting to our headquaters while working closely with finance teams across the Group.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the preparation and delivery of regular reporting and ad hoc requests for Tescan management.
  • Collect, validate, and structure reporting data from entities across the Tescan Group.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc management reports and analyses that support informed decision-making.
  • Participate in non-financial reporting activities across the Group, including ESG and sustainability reporting, ensuring completeness, consistency, and data quality.
  • Support the consolidation of group financial statements under US GAAP, Czech GAAP, and eventually IFRS.
  • Validate and reconcile financial data to maintain accuracy and consistency across reporting.
  • Prepare documentation for quarterly and annual financial audits and coordinate audit-related activities with internal teams and external auditors.
  • Support compliance with financial reporting requirements and contribute to the development of effective financial controls.
  • Explore and implement opportunities to improve reporting efficiency through automation, data analytics, and AI-assisted solutions.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and controlling colleagues across the Group to deliver reliable reporting on time.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, audit, or controlling.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP and reporting systems. SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Professional English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with close attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize your work, take ownership, and meet reporting deadlines reliably.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with an interest in sharing knowledge and continuously improving how things are done.
  • Previous BIG 4 experience is an advantage.
