As a Planner, you will make sure the right materials are available at the right time so production can run smoothly and customer orders are delivered on schedule. You will connect data, suppliers, and internal teams to balance material availability, inventory levels, and production priorities.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate closely with production, purchasing, and QA teams so materials are available for confirmed orders and production slots, including prioritization when plans change.
- Prepare and maintain material forecasts for suppliers to secure on time deliveries and keep accurate records of material availability by slot and product line.
- Support purchasing, R&D, and NSR teams by planning materials for their specific needs and new product or accessory requirements.
- Oversee internal material flow for cleaning, electrical production, and inspection, including releasing production orders and optimizing production batches.
- Contribute to the S&OP process through regular feedback on demand and supply, adjusting planning parameters for standard, accessory, and non standard production.
- Monitor key indicators such as material availability, inventory turns, and internal production flow, and act quickly to resolve supply chain issues.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in planning in a medium to large enterprise, ideally 5 or more years, with confidence in making data based decisions.
- Practical knowledge of ERP planning tools such as SAP or QAD and the ability to use them to optimize material flows.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, understandable information for colleagues.
- Solid command of English for daily communication across teams and with suppliers; French is a plus.
- Disciplined and reliable in following through on plans, timelines, and record keeping.
- A problem solving mindset with the ability to adapt when plans change or supply chain disruptions occur.
