EMEA Regional Market Specialist – Semiconductors

Are you passionate about the semiconductor industry and ready to drive growth across a dynamic international region? TESCAN, a leading global provider of scientific instrumentation, is seeking a Regional Market Specialist – Semiconductors to help unlock new opportunities across EMEA. In this role, you will help strengthen Tescan’s position in the semiconductor market across the EMEA region. You will connect market insight, customer relationships, and technical understanding to support early-stage growth and long-term opportunity development.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and shape new business opportunities in the semiconductor sector through strategic outreach, regional engagement, and event participation.
  • Represent TESCAN at key industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to raise brand visibility and relevance.
  • Collaborate with sales and applications teams to pre-qualify leads, nurture prospects, and expand the opportunity pipeline.
  • Build trusted relationships with leading research institutions, foundries, equipment makers, and innovators across EMEA.
  • Provide regional market intelligence to inform product positioning, messaging, and strategic planning.
  • Support lead generation through tailored technical conversations and application-driven storytelling.

What You’ll Bring

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field: Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales enablement, or applications roles within the semiconductor or high-tech industries
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor workflows and technology trends (front-end or back-end)
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building and technical storytelling skills
  • Self-motivated and resilient in long-cycle, consultative selling environments
  • Fluent in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
