Regional Product Specialist
As a Regional Product Specialist, you will drive the growth of your assigned product portfolio across the US West Coast. Acting as both a technical expert and commercial partner, you will empower sales teams, engage customers, and connect regional market needs with our global product strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the regional extension of the global product organization, enabling sales teams to identify, qualify, and advance product opportunities.
- Engage directly with customers to present compelling value propositions, applications, and use cases to both expert and non-expert audiences.
- Support customer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical discussions to help accelerate deal closure.
- Gather structured market feedback, competitive insights, and customer requirements, and share them with global product management and marketing teams.
- Support regional execution of product positioning, personas, and go-to-market initiatives in close collaboration with Product Marketing and MarCom.
- Identify and develop regional Key Opinion Leaders to strengthen product credibility, references, and visibility.
- Partner closely with service, applications, marketing, and product teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in Physics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related technical field, with a solid foundation in complex technologies.
- At least 5 years of experience in product sales, applications, sales engineering, or technical marketing within high-tech, scientific instrumentation, or capital equipment environments.
- Confidence in translating complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused value.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills, with credibility among both technical experts and commercial teams.
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
- A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
- A collaborative approach and genuine focus on customer success and continuous improvement.
