Your Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and providing technical support for SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) and FIB (Focused Ion Beam) systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal instrument performance and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Training & Skill Development:

    • Master SEM/FIB theory and operation through structured training (including an overseas program in Brno).

    • Develop field service and customer support skills by shadowing senior engineers.

  • Technical Support:

    • Perform installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SEM/FIB systems.

    • Utilize T&M (Testing & Measurement) tools and SMS (Service Management System) for diagnostics and updates.

  • Operational Coordination:

    • Conduct biannual warehouse inventory checks to ensure spare parts availability.

    • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely resolutions.
