Regional Product Specialist

Help drive regional growth for Tescan's product portfolio as a trusted technical and commercial product expert. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and global colleagues to turn complex technology into clear customer value and support opportunities from first engagement through deal closure.

What You’ll Do

  • Support regional sales teams in identifying, qualifying, and progressing product opportunities.
  • Engage directly with customers to explain product value, applications, and use cases to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Join customer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical discussions to help move opportunities toward successful closure.
  • Gather structured customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence and share them with global product management and marketing teams.
  • Support regional product positioning and go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with Product Marketing and MarCom.
  • Identify and build relationships with regional Key Opinion Leaders to strengthen product credibility, references, and visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with service, applications, marketing, and product teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

What You’ll Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product sales, applications, sales engineering, or technical marketing.
  • Experience working with high-tech products, scientific instrumentation, or capital equipment.
  • The ability to understand complex technical products and translate their applications into clear customer value.
  • Confidence presenting and demonstrating solutions to both sales and technical audiences.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • A proactive, structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong commercial awareness.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • A customer-focused approach, high professional integrity, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
