Regional Product Specialist
About This Role
The Regional Product Specialist drives regional growth for an assigned product portfolio by acting as both the technical and commercial expert. You will support sales teams across the region through customer engagement, product positioning, and demonstrations, while partnering closely with global product, marketing, and service teams. This role is crucial for accelerating opportunities and deepening market insight for TEM/STEM (4D scanning transmission electron microscope).
What You’ll Do
• Act as the regional extension of the global product organization, enabling sales teams with product expertise.
• Present value propositions, applications, and use cases to both expert and non‑expert audiences.
• Join customer meetings, demos, and technical discussions to support opportunity progression and deal acceleration.
• Gather and communicate market trends, competitive insights, and customer needs to global product and marketing teams.
• Support regional execution of product positioning, personas, and go‑to‑market activities.
• Identify, engage, and nurture regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Collaborate with service, applications, marketing, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product sales, applications, sales engineering, or technical marketing.
• Experience in high‑tech, scientific instrumentation, or capital equipment.
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical products and applications.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Fluent English; additional languages welcome.
• Strong communication, cross‑functional collaboration, and customer engagement skills.
• Proactive, structured, solution‑oriented working style.
