Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will nurture and expand key customer relationships while driving account strategies that support revenue growth in the US market. You will be central to strengthening long-term partnerships and uncovering new opportunities that elevate Tescan’s presence in the region. 

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new business growth by identifying, targeting, and developing high-value opportunities within your region.

  • Proactively expand Tescan’s presence by engaging new customers, opening doors in strategic accounts, and positioning our solutions early in the buying cycle.

  • Build a strong pipeline through disciplined prospecting, market outreach, customer visits, and active participation in industry events.

  • Lead account strategies with a hunter mindset, qualifying opportunities, influencing decision-makers, and guiding complex sales cycles to a successful close.

  • Partner with product sales leaders, marketing, service, and application experts to craft competitive proposals and deliver a compelling customer experience.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer challenges to uncover new applications and growth areas for Tescan technologies.

  • Maintain accurate forecasts and reporting through CRM, ensuring visibility into pipeline health and progress toward quarterly and annual revenue targets.

What You’ll Bring

  • A background in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field, supported by experience in scientific instrumentation or electron microscopy sales.

  • A thoughtful, customer-first mindset with the ability to understand technical applications and translate needs into meaningful solutions.

  • Strength in negotiation, relationship-building, and closing sales with clarity and integrity.

  • Confidence using CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage accounts and track performance.

  • Clear, engaging communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

  • An analytical, solution-oriented approach that helps resolve issues while balancing customer and business needs.
