Field Service Engineer, Micro CT

Location: Shanghai / Suzhou / Shenzhen, China

Join Tescan’s Field Service team and help customers keep their Micro CT systems performing reliably. We’re looking for a hands-on engineer to deliver timely technical service, solve equipment issues, and build strong customer relationships across China.

What You’ll Do

• Provide on-site start-up, commissioning, upgrade, repair, and maintenance services for Micro CT systems.

• Diagnose and resolve faults across electrical, mechanical, and electronic subsystems.

• Respond promptly to customer requests and travel to customer sites, including at short notice when required.

• Maintain accurate service records and prepare clear reports on technical issues and corrective actions.

• Build lasting customer relationships through professional service, clear communication, and reliable follow-up.

• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable service solutions, supporting service contract renewals and service revenue.

• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues, maintain customer satisfaction, and support new system sales.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Electronics, Physics, Medical Devices, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

• Hands-on service experience with CT or X-ray equipment. Two or more years of CT equipment or product experience would be an advantage.

• Previous experience with semiconductor equipment.

• The ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, including experience with complex industrial or medical systems and digital and analog electronics.

• Good English reading and writing skills, including the ability to understand technical documentation and prepare service reports.

• Strong customer communication skills, a sense of ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• The ability to work independently, collaborate with colleagues, and manage priorities under pressure.

• Willingness to travel as required and respond to urgent service needs.
